🌑 Weekly lunar yoga themes

  • On Friday 7th November, as the moon transitions from full to third quarter, our practice will invite you to slow down, release tension, and connect with your inner rhythm. Through gentle, flowing movements, mindful breathwork, and grounding postures, we will create space to let go of what no longer serves you, reflect inward, and cultivate a sense of calm and clarity.

This session is designed for all levels, offering accessible variations for beginners and optional deeper expressions for more experienced practitioners, allowing everyone to move mindfully and fully tune into the quiet, reflective energy of the waning moon.

  • Join us on Friday 14th November during the Last Quarter moon, a phase that encourages letting go, clearing space for new energy and emotional ease. We’ll explore flowing sequences, twists, and nourishing stretches that help unwind the body, calm the mind, and invite a sense of lightness. Everyone is welcome - beginners can move safely, and regular practitioners can explore optional variations to deepen their experience. This session nurtures reflection and provides space to leave behind tension from the week.

  • In the Waning Crescent moon’s quiet energy, we slow, restore, and nurture. Long, gentle holds, floor-based stretches, and mindful breathing help you reconnect with your body, release fatigue, and invite deep relaxation. Beginners and experienced practitioners alike will find space to rest, restore, and feel grounded before the new lunar cycle begins.

Frequently asked questions

  • This series uniquely integrates the lunar cycle into your practice, offering a rhythmic approach that enhances mindfulness and personal growth. Each session is thoughtfully themed to align with the moon's phases, providing a deeper connection to your practice and self.

  • Lunar Yoga isn’t a formal style or tradition like Hatha or Vinyasa. Instead, it’s a mindful approach I’ve created that weaves together the themes, energy, and intention behind each class. Each session is designed around the current phase of the moon, guiding you through sequences that encourage reflection, release, and renewal. It’s about the intention and experience of your practice, rather than following a specific school or lineage.

  • Absolutely! The course is designed for all levels. Each class offers layered guidance, allowing beginners to move safely while more experienced students can deepen their practice. Whether you're new to yoga or have an established practice, you'll find value in this series.

  • Not a lot! You just need yourself, some comfy clothes and something to hydrate with. The incense will be flowing - and mats, props, eye pillows are all provided.

  • Life happens! If you've booked a class and need to miss a session, I can move your spot to another week in the series (providing there are some left to go).

Please note that I will only be able to do this once per class booking. I will be sending out a weekly recap to attendees too.

  • Yoga is for every body, and I’m passionate about making it accessible, where I can. I’ll be offering layers in our flows, with options and modifications to suit how you feel on the day.

Not every pose is for every body - and that’s OK. I create a safe space and encourage personal autonomy, inviting you to find your own way to practice yoga safely and authentically.

Please listen to your body and honour its limits. I’m not a medical professional, so if you have any injuries, health concerns, or medical conditions, it’s important to seek advice from your doctor before joining or trying something new.

You’re always welcome to message or email me before you book - or chat before class - if you’d like to discuss anything in more detail.
